My ‘Word Of The Year’ for 2023

My official word for 2023 is PURPOSE

I chose this word because Elevated Faith sent me this bracelet in the photo above and when i read the word Purpose, i just got such a special feeling 🙂 We all have a purpose in life and that is to share God’s Word & His Goodness. He also has a specific plan for each of us, whether we feel it or not. He knows our plan and He will reveal it in His Timing. All we need to do is stay close to Him.

I also want to share this thought: I can create all these goals & plans for my life, but they may not be part of God’s plan or God’s Purpose for me. So instead of praying for something to happen how i want it to, i like to pray for it and add “if it’s Your plan”. Because if it’s not in God’s plan for me, i don’t want it.

I wanted to include a few Bible verses on Purpose…

Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails (Proverbs 19:21)

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28)

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light (1 Peter 2:9)

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do (Ephesians 2:10)
