
This baked oatmeal recipe is so quick and easy to make, I really hope you try it out this weekend!
1/2 cup vegetable oil or 1/4 cup plain apple sauce
3/4 cup honey
2 eggs
3 cups old fashioned oats (not quick oats)
3/4 tbs baking powder
1 1/2 cup almond milk or any milk
1 tsp salt
A good shake of cinnamon
A cap full of vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Bake for about 35 minutes but keep an eye on it for the last ten minutes or so.
I got this recipe from my aunt a few years ago and my mom and i love to make it every so often for a nice warm breakfast. I’ve tweaked the recipe a little bit but it’s just as good as the original. What i love about this recipe is that you can make it in the beginning of the week and then just store it in the fridge to heat up each morning for breakfast. My favorite way to eat these oats is: a scoop of the oats, a little almond milk poured on top, and blueberries in a bowl! So good.
