We’ve all seen the It Girl Morning Routine, the Hot Girl Morning Routine, or any variation of them. Today we’re talking about what those routines could consist of FOR YOU.
You can’t switch up your morning routine and say you’re going to wake up at 5AM, go for a walk, journal, and drink celery juice just because you saw it on TikTok. Those ideas can inspire you and motivate you to create a morning routine that feels more YOU, but you have to figure out what YOU want. Take a minute to actually think about your current morning routine and then read over the questions below to act as inspiration for your soon-to-be updated routine.
Do you find yourself feeling rushed to get ready as soon as your alarm goes off? Maybe try setting your alarm just 15 minutes earlier to give yourself those extra few minutes.
Do you have a favorite beverage you can look forward to making in the morning? Coffee, tea, matcha, juice? This can create something for you to look forward to implementing at the start of every day.
Is your outfit already picked out or do you have to rummage through your closet for a while to pick something out? Picking something out the night before can save that time the next morning to prioritize something else.
Is there something you’ve been wanting to prioritize more in your morning routine? Journaling, reading, stretching, getting outside?
After considering these questions, do you feel some excitement for your new routine ahead of you? Try it out for a week and if it feels off, simply adjust.
